Mo was a journalist from Davao City, Island of Mindanao, Philippines.
As Mindanao-based correspondent, he had stints with The People’s Journal, the Gokongwei-owned Manila Times and The Manila Standard Today.
In a career spanning two decades, he suited up for the Daily San Pedro Express, Mindanao Daily Mirror, Philippines News Agency, Mindanao Insider Daily and Edge Davao.
You must have heard his reports too over One Radio 102.7 FM “Ang Radyo ni Juan” which has a newscast starting at 6:00 a.m. via live streaming at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/newsfm102-7 .
Friends, like former newspaper editor, Davao City Sports Council president and three-term Davao City Councilor Peter T. Laviña, who is the author of Changed Lives in Davao, introduced him to blogging in 2007.
He now lives in the City of Edmonton, Province of Alberta, Canada and currently working on his p.e.n. project, http://pinoyedmontonnews.com/, a News Service for the growing Filipino community.
