MDSA shootfest at Gold Cup range

2nd Metro Davao Range Officers Cup on June 21 to 22

Dear Fellow Shooters,
The Metro Davao Range Officers is hosting the “2nd Metro Davao Range Officers Cup” on June 21-22, 2008 at Police Regional Office (PRO XI) Shooting Range, Camp Catitipan, Catitipan, Davao City.
In view of this we would like to invite all the shooters to join on to this event, it’s a PPSA Level 1 sanction match with (5) Stages and a minimum rouds of 114, Registration fee is php 600 for the regular shooter & php 500 for the Lawman & Junior Shooter.

Mindanao Cavaliers Cup April 4-6

The Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association Incorporated – Eagle Fraternal Chapter (PMAAAI-EFC) will hold “The Mindanao Cavaliers Cup 2008 Rifle and Pistol Competition” on April 4, 5 and 6, 2008.

It will be a Level I IPSC sanctioned competition which includes a Rifle Competition to be held at CPR Rifle Range, Ma-a, Diversion Road, Davao City and a Pistol Competition to be held at the PNP XI Shooting Range at Catitipan, Davao City.

There will be a Registration Fee amounting to Five Hundred Pesos (P 500.00) for every participating shooter.

The competition is a fund-raising drive of the PMA Alumni Chapter here in Davao City to benefit the dependents of the members of Philippine Military Academy who died in the line of duty and to finance the various civic action program of the association.(PR)

Alejandro, Teh, Martinez shine in NROI Metro Davao Cup

Mariboy Alejandro, Raniel Teh and Lenie Ruth Martinez
bagged separate titles of the 2008 NROI Deputy Area
Coordinator Metro Davao Cup shooting competition, held
over the weekend, at Camp Catitipan.

Alejandro beat Paul Ancla for the top honors in the
standard division, Raniel defeated Arnel Teh in the
production side while Martinez won over Roy Diuyan in
the open class.

Nolan Inso and Bobby Ellivera took the modified and
revolver division titles.

Ryan Neil Lofranco won over Boyet Armada for the
standard division for civilians while Mary Joy Solis
clinched the junior’s standard division over Jose Mari
Rodriguez while Allesandre Basman bagged the
production crown and AR Mangudadatu took home the open
title.

In the lady’s divisin, Solis won over Mia Pobre in the
standard class while Macky dela Rosa ruled the
production division.

Martinez shared the limelight by winning the open
division while Marcos Adam and Nelson Edera dominated
the senior’s division for the standard and open
divisions, respectively.

In the government official division, Suharto
Mangudadatu emerged champion while Nassudrin Sumampao
won the standard hi-cap, Kiddo Yap for the standard
and Jude Jaugan for the production in the military
class.

Ronald dela Rosa won the lawman’s standard hi-cap over
Alden Delvo, Joy Alegado over Anthony Placido in the
standard single stack finals and Anthony Dechavez over
Arnel Micabalo in the production division.

In the range officer’s division, Don Advincula
outshined Rolando Malagdao in the standard hi-cap,
Joseph Limpangog over Louie Bagsarsa in the standard
single stack, Celiono Sagpang over Erlu Donga in the
production class.

In the Customs personnel division, Ariel Renes bested
Roberto Ellivera in the finals of the standard hi-cap
while Omar Abadul Bari Dipatuan took the production
title over Faisal Basman.

Gotamco wins PPSA Cup shootfest title

Jon Gotamco scored 505 points to win the Standard Division of the 1st PPSA Deputy Area Director’s Cup Shooting Competition held over the weekend at the Police Regional Office XI Shooting Range.

Raul Tolentino landed at second place with 484 points, followed by Mariboy Alejandro with 464. Ronald dela Rosa settled at fourth with 436 and Jay Agayan at fifth with 422.

In the Production Division, Raniel and Arnel Teh finished 1-2 with 465 and 438 points, respectively.

Noel Dael came in at third with 432, Bernardo Alejandro at fourth with 403 and Lester Bendoval at fifth with 363.

Joel Tan bagged the Modified Division title with 466 points, beating Nolan Inso who tallied 402.

In the Open Division, Santos Alonzo Jr. defeated Mariam Mangundadatu, 470 to 426 points.

Sharing the honors were lawman standard hi-cap champion Ronald dela Rosa, standard single stack winner Joy Alegado, production first placer Luisa Pedregosa, military standard hi-cap first placer Celso Caras, single stack Jim Ferrer, range officer standard hi-cap champion Dennis Castaneda, single stack winner Joseph Limpangog, production champion Nick David, civilian single stack champion Nathaniel Reyes.
