Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. together with the NBA Cares planted 500 hardwood seedlings in the Tree Growing Activity held last April 3, 2012 at the Malagos Watershed Area in Calinan, Davao City.
The tree growing activity is part of the Jr. NBA presented by Alaska program and NBA Cares, the league’s global community outreach initiatives. The activity is for the preservation of clean and potable water supply in Davao City.
Two of the national training camp finalists joined Phoenix Petroleum and Jr. NBA officials together with Davao City Water District, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, PNP and barangay officials to help plant Narra seedlings.

The Jr. NBA Philippines is the leading youth basketball program that began in Manila, and visited places like Davao City, Lucena City and Dagupan City.
