2,500 runners for the 2nd Araw ng Dabaw Phoenix Marathon

All is set and ready for the 2nd Araw ng Dabaw Phoenix Marathon this Sunday, March 10, 2013. Around 2,500 runners will hit the road of Davao City from SM Premiere to SM Lanang. Runners from Davao, Tagum, General Santos, Cagayan De Oro, Bacolod, Cebu, Iligan, Surigao, Camiguin, and Manila will join the race.
Celebrities from media partner TV5, led by Benjie Paras, Erika Padilla, Mara Aquino, James Velasquez and Lia Cruz will also grace the run.
The categories are 3K, 5K, 10K, 21K and 42K, with winners each for men and women.
A Zumba party will start at around 2:30 am to warm up runners, while DJ Yuri will play music for all. Exciting prizes will also be raffled.
Assembly time is 2:30 am for 42K, 4:00 am for 21K, 4:30 am for 10K, and 4:30 am for both 5K and 3K. The run will start and end at SM Lanang Premier.
Adidas is giving 15% discount on selected regular priced items, valid until March 31, 2013. To avail, the Phoenix Marathon participant just has to present his/her stub together with the race bib.
Kopiko will give free bottomless coffee and there will be a free massage for all.
The 2nd Araw ng Dabaw Phoenix Marathon dubbed as “The SM to SM Run” is for the benefit of the Phoenix Philippines Foundation’s programs on Education, Environment, Health and Safety, and Outreach and Disaster Relief.
