Antonino Gadi and Bianca Carlos brace for a tough outing as they go for their
third straight victories in the MVP Sports Foundation-Bingo Bonanza Philippine
Badminton Ranking System (PBaRS) tournament which holds its third leg on July
30-Aug. 30 at the Wheels and More badminton courts in Davao City.
Gadi swept the men’s Open singles titles in the first two legs of the

the Mindanao region.

singles of the event, put up by Vice President and Philippine Badminton
Association president Jejomar Binay, Rep. Albee Benitez and
businessman-sportsman Manny Pangilinan, while going all out to re-claim the
crown in the Open division won by Malvinne Alcala in Bacolod.
Alcala and boys’ 19-Under singles back-to-back champion Joper Escueta will skip
the Davao event to resume their training in Malaysia but the field remains as
talent-laden with members of the national pool in the fold along with those from
the various clubs, including Golden Shuttle Foundation, JLTC, WWGBA and Team
