AS summer kicks in, the Milo-sponsored BEST Center basketball clinics kick off tomorrow in four Metro Manila venues – Ateneo College covered courts in Quezon City, Starmall Alabang, Olivarez College Sports Center and Christ the King.
Morning and afternoon sessions will be held at Ateneo and Starmall while afternoon classes will be conducted at Olivarez College Sports Center and Christ the King from 1 to 4 p.m.
The country’s pioneer basketball school, which has won awards from the Philippine Sportswriters Association and the Philippine Olympic Committee, has also set provincial clinics.
The provincial sessions will be conducted in the following regions and venues:
Luzon – Barangay Balibago Sports Complex in Sta. Rosa, Laguna for levels 1 and 2 with Limuel Tolentino (cp. no. 0910-3758396) and Manny Laserna (cp no. 0922-3928053) as organizers;
Visayas – Capiz gym, Villareal Stadium in Roxas City for levels 1, 2 and 3 with Ronnie Dagala (cp no. 0910-3758396) and David Recio (cp no. 0920-9103729) as organizers; and
Mindanao – St. Mary’s Academy, Carmen in Cagayan de Oro City for levels 1, 2 and 3 with Manolito Bombeo (cp no. 0919-6601245) as organizer and Limketkai Center, North Concourse Entrance as registration center.
Milo BEST Center has produced many of the country’s outstanding cagers like Chris Tiu, Jonas Villanueva, Joseph Yeo, TY Tang, JV Casio, Kiefer and Marce Arellano.
