Cars, P1 million cash up for grabs at 2nd Phoenix Open

One million pesos in cash, a Kia Picanto, a Foton Blizzard, and other valuable prizes are up for grabs at the 2nd Phoenix Open on March 6 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf & Country Club in Mandug, Davao City.

The 2nd Phoenix Open, presented by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. and Cherry Mobile, is part of the Araw ng Dabaw celebration.

Hole in one prizes in all par 3 holes are Kia Picanto, one million pesos, and Foton Blizzard. Tournament winners will receive Royal Selangor Pewter plates.

Each player will receive one Cherry Mobile R007 phone as giveaway on tournament day.

Around 250 players from Mindanao, Luzon, and Visayas are expected to join the 2nd Phoenix Open. Tournament format is 18-hole systems 36 Team and Individual competition. Male and female amateur golfers 21 years old and above are eligible to join the Phoenix Open. Registration entry free is P3,500 per player and can be done at Rancho Palos Verdes, Apo Golf & Country Club and Matina Golf Club.

The Phoenix Open will benefit the Phoenix Philippines Foundation and its charities. The foundation’s core programs are education, environment, health and safety, disaster relief, and outreach.

Awarding ceremonies will start at 6 pm on March 6 at the clubhouse of Rancho Palos Verdes Golf & Country Club.

The Davao-based Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. is engaged in the business of trading refined petroleum products, lubricants and other chemical products, operation of oil depots and storage facilities, and allied services.
