University of Mindanao-Davao City walloped UM-Tagum City, 3-0 to start on a high note in the volleyball event of the 2008 Tagum City Summer Sports Festival, Wednesday night, in Tagum City.
The Big City spikers led all the way and engineered a 25-18, 26-24, 25-19 win.
They will face Happy Feet, winner over the Tagum All-Stars, for their next assignment.
Prizes are up for grabs in the tournament presented by Mayor Rey T. Uy and supported by the Tagum Volleyball Association headed by Vilma Manulat.
