I am glad to announce that six (6) members of the Triathlon Association of Davao (TRIAD) will be joining the upcoming Subic International Triathlon Competition which will commence on Sunday May 11, 2008 at the Boardwalk Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City . This is an International Triathlon Union (ITU) and Asia Cup Series event. Officiated by (Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP) and International Technical Officials from Asia under the supervision of ITU/ASTC
Leslie Herrero of Metro Lifestyle Fitness Center , Paul Villocino, and yours truly (Paulo Dino F. Ouano of Holiday Gym and Spa) will be joining two (2) other Manilenyo triathlete to complete the Team A of SUNKIST TRIHARD TEAM in the Inter-Club Competition. Though racing as a team, each of us has the chance to grab a medal in our different age group categories.
On the other hand, consistent medalist in his age group (55-59year old category) Ernesto “Bong” Rivera is also set to grab another medal this year. Marathon athlete Cossette Plaza and Dive Master Felina Tadiaman will also be seeing action in the Olympic distance race.
